About the villa

The apartment complex is located in a peaceful area of Playa de los Pocillos. The sand/shingle beach, public transport links and the tourist centre with restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs and shops lie around 200 m away, whilst the centre is 1 km away and the airport lies 10 km from the hotel. The complex comprises 23 villas and offers a refuge of peace and quiet. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk and a cloakroom. Additional facilities at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane bungalow complex may also be used including a bar, a café, a small supermarket, an air-conditioned restaurant with a smoking area and highchairs for children, a dining room, a conference room and Internet access. A bicycle hire service and a car park are additionally to be found here. Each villa has its own garden with a heated swimming pool and sun terrace with hammocks, sun loungers and parasols. The villas include 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms with hairdryer, one of which includes a bath with hot tub function and washing machine. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a fridge, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a double bed and a seating area. Guests may also make use of all the facilities at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane hotel. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out additionally available for use on the beach (for an additional fee). A karting track can be reached in about 500 m, the marina is about 1 km away, whilst a golf course lies 25 km away. Guests may also make use of the dining options at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane hotel.

Our 3rd time here and our first time with a villa - worth every penny . Heated private pool so relaxing the villa was gorgeous and the hotels always spotless . Great staff and livens breakfast locations fab

Fab family holiday

Just back from a fantastic week here. The hotel was spotless, staff working all the time keeping it up to standard. Great pool which was quite warm for February. The bar was also well stocked and a reasonable price. We were self catering but bought breakfast in the restaurant a couple of times which was good value. Would definitely go back. Also great WiFi

A great stay!!

Stayed here for 6 nights for the first time. We stayed in no 3 (studio) close to the reception area. The accommodation was clean and safe, It had all that is needed for a SC holiday, the shower was great, plenty of storage, a tv, WiFi, safe (€10 refundable deposit) and cleaned/towels changed every other day. The complex itself is clean and very well maintained, large swimming pool with kids pool, lots of sun beds (no sun bed wars), pool bar, jacuzzi, onsite shop, gym, ATM, washing facilities and kids club. Can’t comment on their food as we ate out but breakfast was €12pp and dinner was €18pp. We did get some cocktails at the bar which we found a little more pricier than on the strip but was nice all the same. All the staff we encountered were super friendly too. We ordered a taxi a few times which reception called for us and they were there within a few minutes 👍🏻 Our one minor grumble is that online it said it has heated pools but did find the main pool really cold. You are about 10-15 mins walk to the start of the strip heading right and probably 10min turning left to Matagorda. Would we return again?…absolutely!!

We stayed for 5 nights at Hyde Park Lane Bungalows and enjoyed every moment. Our stay was on a half board basis. The choice at the breakfast buffet was excellent with everything one could wish for and more. We ate dinner at the restaurant 4 nights, each night there was a different theme… Asian was our favourite. The choice was plentiful with something for everyone. The pool bar was good for daytime food and was excellent value for money for both food and drinks. The bungalow itself was spacious with very comfortable beds and a very good shower. We overlooked the pool but found it generally very quiet, yes we could hear the evening entertainment but this finished at around 10:00pm so wasn’t an issue. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Staff at reception helped us organise car hire which was good value plus the car was delivered and collected to/from the hotel which was very convenient. The grounds were immaculately kept, spotlessly clean and tidy. We didn’t use the pool but plenty of people did and there were always plenty of sun loungers. It took about 5-7 minutes to walk to the promenade, turn right for Puerto del Carmen about 10 minutes easy walk; turn left for an easy 10 minute walk to Matagorda which is much quieter than Puerto del Carmen. Basic toiletries (shower gel, soap & shampoo) were provided and plenty of towels which were changed twice during our stay. The kitchenette had everything you need with a hob, fridge and combo microwave if needed. All in all we would recommend a stay here and we hope to return one day.

Very family friendly hotel

We went to Hyde Park Lane Bungalows for February half term in 2026. We took our two boys, ages 6 and 3. We all had a really good time. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would really like to send a big thank you to the Mini Club organiser, Mr Potato (David). He is terrific, he created a really good atmosphere for me and my family. He made us feel very welcome. The children really enjoyed the crafts, the mini disco and feeding the parakeets. The 39 year old child (me), really enjoyed playing Petanca (a game like bowls but more fun) and the dutch game Sjoelen (that I had never seen before). I would also like to thank the Socorrista (lifeguard) for being so friendly and welcoming. Those two really made our stay very special. I hope that they are there when we return in the future. I think that this place is the most family friendly and welcoming place that I have stayed at with my young family. I was genuinely sad to leave. The hotel is really clean and tidy. The grounds well kept and the pool bar and reception were also really well presented. It is quite an elegant building and grounds. The prices at the pool bar are very reasonable for food and drink. I ate there most days. The staff there were also great and were friendly when I tried out my terrible Spanish on them. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were very effective as solving any problems. Overall it exceeded massively my expectations. We had a 5 day getaway (with my mum and her partner) and we all wished that we had stayed longer.
