About the villa

You can wake up, cook your favourite breakfast and stretch out on a sunlounger before the rest of the gang wakes up when you stay at one of these villas. They all come with roomy kitchens and private pools, so you can holiday on your own schedule.

Leafy gardens and mountain views help you feel like you’re really away from it all. But follow the palm-lined path to Playa Blanca – Tenerife’s newest resort town – and you’ll reach waterfront bars and restaurants in less than 25 minutes. It’s not much further to the closest beach, either.

Please be aware that you may be asked for a credit card on arrival, to cover any ad hoc purchases. This hotel may also take a deposit, which can vary depending on the length of stay. It will be refunded after your stay, provided no damage has been caused to your room or its contents.

The Hoopoe villas are located in a gated resort and offer great privacy and a luxurious environment - we had no interaction with other guests at all and spent the days lazing by the pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cleaning was available on a daily basis. The villas themselves are beautifully presented and clearly very new. Our holidays are nearly always to villas and this one represented great value for money compared to similar offerings.

Spectacular family villa

I can't recommend these beautiful villas more highly. We had a 3 bed villa which was so spacious - three huge double bedrooms all with en suites. Beautiful kitchen and lounge are but the highlight was the outside space - a massive terrace with sun loungers, dining area and comfortable seating area too. The pool was very large and cleaned regularly during our stay, when it says "sunset terrace" in the description it really means it, we could have happily stayed there until the last glimpses of the sun. The setting was very secure and quiet with amazing staff - the reception team were on hand to answer questions via Whatsapp 24/7 and the housekeeping team were outstanding. I just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Really exceptional place to stay

Superb. A lot of reviews say “exceeded expectations” and I didn’t really believe that until we got there. Definitely does. Very spacious, everything spotless and in great condition. Pictures probably don’t do it justice. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. The staff were very helpful, totally flexible to our needs and always on hand via WhatsApp for any instant help and advice. We would 100% go back there.

Beautiful facilities and staff to match

Just returned home from Hoopoe Villas. We found our apartment exceeded what was shown in the pictures. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. What I enjoyed most was the small gestures. They furnished us with a bottle of wine because the pool temperature was too cold for a single day, and left a box of chocolates on valentines day. We will certainly look to return soon
