Discover the bay beyond the volcano

Universal Volcano Bay is a tropical water wonderland, where playful Polynesian vibes team up with a towering volcano that steals the show. Everywhere you look, there are palms and waterfalls, winding rivers and splash zones for kids, not to mention heart-pounding slides and mellow wave pools. Whether you’re chasing thrills or just want to lounge in the sun, this place ticks a whole lot of boxes.

Please note – Universal Volcano Bay will begin a seasonal closure on 26th October 2026, with a current planned reopening on or before 24th March 2027.**

Top rides at Universal Volcano Bay

There’s something on all levels of the thrill scale at this park, from white-knuckle drop slides to meandering family raft rides.

Krakatau Aqua Coaster

Hold on tight, as this flagship ride has you twisting and turning through the park’s iconic volcano in a comfy four-person canoe. Expect stomach-flipping drops, plunging waterfalls and dark tunnels along the way.

Honu of the Honu ika Moana

Honu’s one of two slides, together called Honu ika Moana. Its name is the Hawaiian word for ‘sea turtle’ – fitting, as you feel like you could be riding on the back of one as you take on sweeping turns and half-pipe-style plunges.

Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides

These twin drop slides are a thrill-seeker's dream. Fancy falling through a trap door and hurtling 125 feet from the top of a volcano in a translucent tube? If the answer’s yes, this one’s for you.

Four lands to explore

This park’s split into four zones, each with its own set of rides and facilities.

Rainforest Village

When it comes to rides, Rainforest Village is a good all-rounder. It offers plenty of space for bag-watchers to chill, along with a bundle of tube slides and speedy racers. It's home to the action-packed TeAwa The Fearless River, too.

River Village

River Village is a hit with younger families, thanks to its weaving family raft rides and toddler-focused play areas. You can grab a tube and opt for a relaxing float around the Kopiko Wai Winding River here, too.

Wave Village

The centrepiece of Wave Village is – you guessed it – the wave pool. At the pool’s shoreline, there’s a sandy beach scattered with sunbeds. And just by the beach, there’s a bar rustling up snacks and cocktails.

The Volcano

The Volcano’s all about high-speed escapades, from the Krakatau Aqua Coaster to a handful of body slides, including one that’s almost vertical. If you’re into adrenaline, this will be your fave spot.
