Universal Islands of Adventure typically opens at 9am each day. You can check park opening hours for specific dates on the Universal Orlando Resort website.

We’d recommend a minimum of one whole day at Universal Islands of Adventure if you want to soak up all it has to offer. Two days may be a better option, if you want to take your time while you explore. With so much to see and do, you can never really have too much time here.

There are perks to visiting Universal Islands of Adventure all year round. In the couple of months after summer and at the start of the year, you’ll likely find the park is a little quieter, but the weather may be cooler. If you want to visit for seasonal celebrations, there’s plenty going on in the lead-up to Christmas.

Make sure you wear comfy shoes to Universal Islands of Adventure, as you’ll rack up plenty of steps walking around the park. You might want to bring something waterproof, too, if you fancy riding Toon Lagoon’s water attractions – they get you very wet. In terms of what’s practical for rides and getting around the park, you can’t go wrong with light shorts and tees – especially when the weather’s hot.

There’s a seasonal evening show that takes place in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Hogsmeade™. You’ll need to check before your visit to see if it will be showing on your dates – you can get more information on the Universal Orlando Resort website.

The Universal Orlando All Parks Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe, AND Universal Volcano Bay on all days during a fourteen (14) consecutive calendar day period which commences on and includes the date selected. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days shall be forfeited. The above Admission Media is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be used by the same person on all days. Standard entry includes biometric scan. Valid only during normal operating hours. Parks, attractions, or entertainment may: close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Orlando Resort (‘Universal’). Unless otherwise stated, the above Admission Media specifically excludes admission to separately ticketed events and venues at any of the Universal theme parks and/or CityWalk and excludes parking or discounts on food or merchandise.
