Entry requirements
We recommend British passport holders always check FCDO advice before travelling.
You can also use our handy passport checker tool to make sure your passport’s valid.
Some countries require you to complete immigration and health forms before you travel. If you need help completing these, visit your local TUI Store and talk to one of our friendly Travel Experts.
If you don’t hold a British passport, please carefully check the entry requirements for your destination.
Plus, remember to:
Check your entry requirements regularly in the run-up to your holiday.
Check your passport validity if you’re travelling to a European destination.
Check your passport validity if you’re travelling to destination outside of Europe.
If needed, purchase your entry visas.
FAQs
What should I do if I become unwell with a contagious illness before my holiday?
If you become unwell before your holiday, you’ll need to inform us and your travel insurance company.
What happens if I test positive for COVID-19 in resort?
If you test positive in your destination before you’re due to return home to the UK, you’ll need to inform your TUI resort team – via the TUI app or by calling +442038303111 – if you’re on a package holiday, plus your hotel and your insurance company. You’ll then need to follow the specific procedures in place at your hotel. These vary from destination to destination and may include the need to self-isolate in a medical facility or your hotel room. You also won’t be able to travel home until you’ve had a COVID-19 test that comes back negative. Your hotel team will be there to support you.
Are there any COVID restrictions still in place for any TUI destinations?
There are no longer any COVID restrictions in place for any of our destinations – however, there are still a handful of long haul destinations that do require a health declaration form to be completed prior to departure. You can check your destination by visiting Foreign travel advice - GOV.UK and by clicking on the Entry Requirements link.
