Do I need a visa to travel to Egypt?
If you're travelling to Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts for up to 15 days, you will receive a free entry permission stamp upon arrival. If you intend to travel out of the Sharm El Sheikh area or stay longer than 15 days, you must also get a visa.
A tourist visa is required for visitors to all resorts in Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Luxor. You can apply for an e-visa online via this website: www.visa2egypt.gov.eg/eVisa, you can also purchase a visa on arrival in resort if you hold a full British Passport. The visa cost at the moment is approximately $30 USD per person including children and infants if purchased from the local authorities or £28 GBP if purchased from our destination management company. Please note Visas purchased on the spot are cash only and may cost a little more.
