Flying with Ryanair

What is my baggage allowance with Ryanair?

If you’ve chosen to include hold luggage in your booking, each passenger can check-in 1 bag weighing up to 20kg. The maximum dimensions of a 20kg Check-in Bag are 80 x120cms x120cm. Bag pooling is permitted between passengers on the same booking. This means if there are 2 of you travelling, both with a baggage allowance of 20kgs, one bag could weigh 10kgs and the other 30kg. Please be aware no bag can exceed 32kg. Additional baggage, excess baggage, or special baggage can be added directly through the MyRyanair account. If you choose to add special baggage to your booking, please let us know so we can ensure your transfer can cater for it.

In addition you will be allowed one small piece of hand luggage on board. This could be a handbag, rucksack or backpack, however, it must fit under the seat in front of you. Maximum dimensions for hand luggage are 40x20x25cms.

There’s no cabin bag allowance for an infant (aged 8 days to 23 months). However, a baby bag of up to 5kg (dimensions: 45x35x20cms), is allowed free of charge, for babies travelling on an adult's lap. You can bring 2 items of carry-on baby equipment for free. This can include a pushchair/buggy, car seat, booster seat or travel cot.

There’s an additional fee for sports equipment and other large items - Please see www.ryanair.com for details.
