About the villa

Tucked away in the mountains, the Villa Cortijo Maria Dolores is just a ten-minute drive away from the wine bars and shops of Frigiliana.

For the best vantage point, make a beeline for the terrace surrounding the swimming pool. From here, you’re treated to a scene-stealing panorama of mountains and countryside.

Inside the villa, low wood-beamed ceilings are paired with arching windows and white walls. The kitchen breakfast bar is the star of the show, though, thanks to its characterful Moorish tiling.

With several doors offering access to the terrace and outdoor dining area, the open-plan lounge dining area and kitchen is on the lower floor. The dining area features a solid wood table and chair set, whilst the lounge has a comfy settee, TV, and feature fireplace.

Double bedroom

White washed walls, a wooden ceiling with rounded beams, and gorgeous pine finished furniture and bed, make this upper floor double bedroom a cosy place to sleep. The bedroom also has an en suite shower room.

Separate shower room

There is a shower room adjacent to the twin bedroom on the lower floor.

Twin bedroom

The twin bedroom is on the lower floor.

En suite shower room

In the upstairs double bedroom.

Private pool

The villa offers one of the best views in the region, and there is no better place to enjoy it than from a lounger by the pool, or from the pool itself. At 6 metres long, and 3 metres wide, this traditionally shaped pool has a short flight of Roman steps to ease your entry, and barely slopes to a maximum depth of 1.6 metres. Loungers and a large parasol provide comfort and shade at one end of the pool, and there is a stone barbecue for a spot of Al Fresco dining, whilst you soak in those views.
