About the villa
Villa Horta da Avozinha is wrapped in gardens, orchards and terraces. They're shared with Villa Kimbo, and the other property perches at the far end of the garden, so you've still got plenty of privacy. The living accommodation is spacious and comfortable – and stylish, too. Against a background of pale-washed walls and light-tiled floors, wooden furniture and fabrics add splashes of colour.
A pool stretches out alongside Villa Horta da Avozhina, hugged by a tiled terrace scattered with lemon-yellow loungers and nautical-striped parasols. The beaches at Praia da Luz are only a 10-minute drive away from Villa Horta da Avozhina. Most head for the Blue Flag stretch, with its sheltered sands and promenade.
Wide French windows in the large dining-come-living area lead straight onto a veranda. A dining table and chairs are out here, too, for al fresco meals by the pool. Horta da Avozinha – or ‘Granny’s Garden' – sits in a lovely garden and orchard where you can pluck a fresh lemon straight off the tree for your gin and tonic.
