It’s perfectly placed to take advantage of the various sights that pepper the island – like Mdina. This city’s a 15-minute drive away and has a quiet, old world style.

Those interested in history will love Malta, and the area of San Anton – and its neighbours, like Ta’ Qali and Lija – are a history hound’s paradise. People have populated Attard since 3000BC, and you can visit haunting catacombs and tombs, or step into one of the area’s many Medieval churches.

Fit for a president

This place has got a stylish edge to it, perhaps because it’s where the president of Malta lives – in the Grand Master’s Palace. You can visit the San Anton Gardens here, and might even catch a glimpse of the president pottering round them if you’re lucky.
