Trypiti holidays
Jump to sections
Holidays to Tripiti take you to one of Thassos's prettiest villages. It's all about peace and R&R here, but you've also got the island's second-biggest town just 3 kilometres away.
Escape from the crowds
This dinky village on Thassos’s southwest coast is famous for its good looks. Life here is all about relaxing on the sandy beach and enjoying home-cooked Greek food at the local tavernas. You’re also well placed to explore Thassos – there’s a road circling the island that wags call the M25 – and it only takes an hour to drive round the whole thing.
Picture-perfect beaches
This horseshoe-shaped cove is certainly a beauty – you’ve got 500 metres of white sands and turquoise waters to play with here. On the sands there are loungers and umbrellas to rent, along with a taverna and beach bar. And in the rocks behind the sands are some natural caves you can explore.
Daytrips to Thassos Town
You might be the other side of the island from the capital, Thassos Town, but this is such a manageable place you can still get here in 40 minutes. What you’ll find is a place that really wears its history on its sleeve. There’s an ancient amphitheatre up on a hill, and the remains of Athena’s temple to explore. There’s also a pretty harbour dotted with fishing boats and tavernas.
