Trek through the jungle in Costa Rica

On our Costa Rica Discovery Tour, home will feel a million miles away – especially during a pre-dawn trek through the rainforest. You’ll rise early and head out with a guide to walk the natural trails in Tortuguero among brightly-coloured flowers and dew-dotted trees. Experience otherworldly views in the USA

Set off on safari in Tanzania

Watch a traditional fire dance in Bali

This traditional Hindu dance includes fire and chanting and is almost 100 years old. Volunteer in a Gurdwara kitchen

Experience life with the locals on our Icons of India – Tigers and the Taj Mahal tour. After touring Old Delhi’s markets and mosques in the morning, you’ll spend some time exploring the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib – one of the most important religious landmarks for Sikhs in Delhi. Afterwards, you’ll get to volunteer in the kitchens to help prepare lunch for the 10,000-plus people who come to worship here every day. You can choose to have lunch yourself here, too, before more exploring in the afternoon.

Camp under the stars in Jordan

The Middle Eastern country of Jordan is home to the ancient city of Petra – with its impressive pink sandstone cliffs – as well as the Dead Sea and the sweeping Wadi Rum desert. Experience all three on our Jewels of Jordan seven-night tour, which includes a camp-out under the stars towards the end of the trip. The day starts with a 4X4 drive across the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, and ends with you sharing a meal under the starlit sky and bedding down in a traditional Bedouin tent. That also means you can watch the sunrise over the sand early the next morning, before soaking in the hot springs of the Dead Sea on your last day.
