Best time to go to Mexico - Caribbean Coast
In true Caribbean fashion, this part of Mexico enjoys tropical temperatures all year long – expect highs of up to 35°C in summer and the months around it. Even in the winter, it’s rare for the mercury to dip below 20°C here.
Just a heads-up, some of the hotel beaches along Mexico's Caribbean Coast can often experience increased levels of seaweed. It's a natural occurrence called Sargassum, and is influenced by the weather and ocean currents around the Caribbean Sea. Whenever it occurs, it has a habit of disrupting the beaches the seaweed lands on. Don't worry, though, if it affects the beach near your hotel, the staff will work hard to clear it as soon as possible.
