    The best time to visit Oman is between October and April, when the mercury flutters between 20°C and 30°C. From May to July, meanwhile, you might see the temperature max out in the mid-30s. In the south of Oman – around the port city of Salalah – the region’s only monsoon season is known to last from June to September. During this time, expect bursts of cooling rain showers and occasional misty spells.
