Family cruises

Our onboard kids’ clubs cater for babies to teens. There are sensory play sessions where under 3s can have a go at finger painting and bubble play, and there’s a range of sensory toys for them to play with, too. Kids aged 3 to 11 can get stuck into crafts, quizzes and mini-discos. And there’s a dedicated hangout area loaded with games consoles and comfy chairs for 12 to 17-year-olds.

Some of our sailings put on additional events for families. These are subject to change and vary by sailing, but include things like the Marella family funfair, Captain and Deck Officer visits for youngsters, interactive music and storytelling sessions and craft sessions with appearances from Captain Mac.

Our family-friendly ships are well versed in keeping kids and adults entertained around the clock, with escape rooms, climbing walls, minigolf courses and indoor-and-outdoor cinemas on offer. You’ll also find handy facilities like baby changing rooms and food preparation areas. Just so you know, things can vary throughout the fleet, so we recommend checking what’s onboard your chosen ship before you book.

Babies and toddlers aged 0 to 3 can attend our hour-long stay-and-play sessions at Mini M Club. Running daily from 9am, they let parents and little ones spend quality time together, and they’re also a chance for little ones to explore and make new friends. Plus, there are activities like story time and arts and crafts sessions.

M Crew is our kids’ club for youngsters aged 3 to 7. There’s a whole host of sessions for them to get involved with every day, ranging from interactive history tours to fancy dress competitions. The fun continues into the early evenings, too, with things like film nights, mini-discos and kids’ shows. Check the Navigate app or Cruise News when you’re onboard to see what’s on.

M Club caters for older kids who enjoy a little independence but still want to have loads of fun. Our packed activity schedule lines up the likes of pirate hunts, crazy golf challenges and silly science activities by day, and movie nights, chocolate parties and mini-discos come evening. The Hideout is our dedicated hangout area for teens aged 12 to 17, open daily from 9am to 10pm. It’s loaded with games consoles and comfy chairs, and in high season, it plays host to things like air hockey tournaments, comedy shows and silent discos.

Naples is dubbed the ‘home of pizza’, so there’s no better place to have a go at making one yourself. After meeting your guide at the ship, you’ll walk through the city to a traditional pizzeria where you’ll learn all about the ingredients and technique before rustling up your very own Neapolitan pizza with homemade dough, rich tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella.

This wet-and-wild adventure will see you take a seat in a rubber tube ready to spin and twirl your way along the Layou River – the longest and largest in Dominica. A guide will be with you the whole time, and you’ll stop at a natural pool halfway along to let the rest of the group catch up. This thrilling ride definitely isn’t one for the faint hearted.

See traditional Turkish villages, visit the historic Seven Sleepers site, and go to the top of Virgin Mary’s Mountain on this 4x4 tour. Your guide will share tales about the area’s history and significance along the way. After the thrill of off-roading, relax at the picturesque Pamucak Beach before heading to Vadi Sultan Restaurant for a traditional village brunch with unlimited tea.

Board a glass-bottomed semi-submarine and sail into the calm waters of Kotor Bay for an up-close look at its swathes of marine life. You’ll have a great view no matter where you stand, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. And once you’re back on dry land, you’ll get a guided walking tour of Kotor’s UNESCO-protected streets, too.

Board the traditional island schooner, Scaramouche, for a tour around the coast of Bequia, past the famous Moonhole cave-home area, to a tiny, uninhabited island and a white-sand beach where you’ll drop anchor for swimming, tanning or exploring ashore. Caribbean music, rum punch and soft drinks served by the friendly local pirate crew are the cherry on top.
