Character dining made magical

One of the most popular dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort? Character dining, of course. You can meet some of your favourite Disney Characters while tucking into delicious dishes – a win-win if you ask us. Fancy something sweet? At Chef Mickey’s, in Disney's Contemporary Resort, you’ll dine on classic American treats like Mickey waffles and pancakes as your favourite Characters like Mickey and Minnie make their way around the dining room to greet you – what a way to start your Disney Park day. Or, make tracks for Magic Kingdom Park and dine like a princess at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You’ll have the chance to meet your favourite Disney Princesses like Ariel, Jasmine and Snow White.

Tasty plates with a twist

Satu'li Canteen – tucked away in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park – serves up dishes inspired by the Na'vi, the indigenous people of Pandora from the Avatar films. Savour the flavours of must-have menu items like the Bao Bun with grilled beef or spicy fried tofu or the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl with black beans and rice. Room for dessert? We'll have a slice of the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse with a drizzle of passionfruit curd.

Ice-cream more your scene? Pick up a Dole Whip (or two) from Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park or Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s usually made with pineapple ice-cream and comes in a crunchy cone or a mess-free cup. Don’t worry if you’re not keen on pineapple, you’ll find other flavours like strawberry, coconut, lemon and orange to keep you cool on a hot Florida day.

Fine dining at its best

Fine dining more your scene? Dig into Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This award-winning restaurant offers intimate dining with a fixed-price menu and a house harpist for entertainment – how cool is that? Choose from two chef-curated set menus made with fresh seasonal ingredients and wash it all down with your choice of over 500 (yes, you read that right) wines. You can’t dine here without marvelling at the décor – think murals and wait staff dressed to the nines. Psst! This place is for adults and little ones over 10 years old, so bear that in mind when you book.

Stop by Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie for a delicate French pastry. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for iconic buildings like France’s Eiffel Tower and China’s Temple of Heaven.
