Congratulations – you’re engaged! We know that planning a wedding is no small feat, especially if you want to tie the knot abroad. So, we’ve made booking a TUI wedding as easy as possible, from finding a venue to deciding on the guest list, and fine-tuning everything from the flowers to the food with a TUI Expert on-hand to help. Read on for a step-by-step guide to booking a TUI wedding abroad, including a breakdown of what to do when...

1. Get some serious inspiration

Take a look at our weddings page or flick through our weddings brochure to see the destinations on offer and some of the wedding venues you can choose from. You can also order a personalised version of the brochure online. Bear in mind that this isn’t even our full range – we also have lots of external venues that aren’t in hotels, which we’ll be happy to chat you through.

2. Fine-tune your plans

Pop in or make an appointment to speak to a TUI Expert in one of our stores. Or, call the dedicated Weddings Team on 0203 451 2688. Either way, we can help you narrow down the right destination, pinpoint the perfect venue and bring your themes and ideas to life.

3. Book your big day

Time for the exciting bit! Your Travel Expert can book the holiday element of your trip first, then they’ll get your wedding package booked. You’ll sign your wedding contract and get your confirmation documents. Some destinations will give you an instant wedding date confirmation, including places like Greece, Cyprus and Egypt. Other destinations will take a bit longer to confirm your date, so we recommend providing three potential dates during the period you’ll be in your destination, to ensure availability.

4. Start planning

Once your big day is booked, it’s time to get your legal documents sorted. Your wedding co-ordinator from either TUI or the hotel – depending on the destination you’ve booked – will contact you. This usually happens around three months before you travel, so don’t worry if you don’t hear from them before that point.

5. Say ‘I do’ in style

It’s time to travel to your wedding destination and watch as all your plans fall into place, whether you’ve opted for a beach wedding with the sand beneath your feet, or a hotel wedding with everything at your fingertips. You’ll meet your wedding coordinator while you’re there and run through your day, then it’s the real thing – swiftly followed by your happily ever after!
