A TUI Green & Fair label is awarded when a hotel earns an independent accreditation that meets the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), one of the world’s leading authorities on sustainable practices in the tourism industry. These criteria, which focus on things like environmental protection, supporting local communities and promoting cultural heritage, make up the standard that all TUI hotels look to achieve and exceed as part of our greener approach to the way we do things. Once a hotel earns an accreditation – there are a few for them to pick from – we award it with a Green & Fair label, making it super easy for you to spot which boltholes are doing their best for the planet.

Our flagship TUI BLUE hotels are taking strides to ensure ecosystems and local communities in their destinations are supported. As a result, a lot of these high-quality hotels have picked up GSTC-certified accreditations, including in popular summer holiday spots like Portugal, Spain and Cyprus. What’s more, our TUI BLUE line-up includes adults-only haunts, family-focused hideaways and hotels that shine a light on the local culture. Whichever one suits your holiday style, you’ll be able to find holiday options that come with Green & Fair labels.
