This legendary department store is a paradise for fashion lovers, with its glamorous displays and designer collections. Get lost in the latest Parisian trends, or simply soak up the atmosphere as you wander through the designer-label stocked store. If you’re here on a weekend you can also catch a 30-minute Friday fashion show in the very heart of the store, showcasing the likes of Chloé and Armani. You’ll be right in the action watching the “it” items for the season strut past your seat. Don't forget to look up to catch the multicoloured dome above – it’s a true knockout.

Eat like a local

Marvel at gothic architecture

No visit to Paris would be complete without a visit to the iconic Saint Chapelle, also known as one of the highest achievements of Gothic architecture. This spot was commissioned by King Louis IX of France to house his collection of Christian relics, including Christ's crown of thorns. Whether you're a history buff or looking for a spot to reflect, don’t forget to check out the chapel's stained-glass windows and get a close look at the host of relics while you wander around.
