Best resorts for a familymoon

Honeymoon with the kids in tow? Discover the best resorts for your familymoon.
These days, more and more couples are waving goodbye to the usual wedding plus honeymoon recipe. Why? For one thing, lots of marriages involve two ready-made families joining together. It’s also becoming increasingly common to opt for a pre-packaged destination wedding and honeymoon, and inviting the whole bunch along to celebrate. Plus, many couples choose to start their families before tying the knot. So, what’s the solution for loved-up couples who still want that all-important alone time, but don’t want to exclude the brood? Answer: a familymoon. Forget secluded adults-only hideaways with nothing except waves for a soundtrack, and leave behind ideas of petal-strewn beds with his ‘n’ hers bathrobes. Familymoons are all about having something for everyone, be it the newlyweds, a feisty five-year old with big ideas, or laidback teenagers who are new to the whole sibling thing.

At our TUI BLUE For Families hotels, we’ve lined up the best of both worlds. Think luxury spas rubbing shoulders with thrill-a-minute waterparks, and swanky cocktail bars sharing the spotlight with oversized meze platters. And, in every resort there’s a top-notch kids’ club, as well as purpose-built family rooms, parent-and-toddler sessions, a BabyClub, and even a Hangout for teenagers – they’ll be sold on the Wi-Fi alone. Everyone from the babies to the big kids are taken care of, and mum and dad have the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time, too.
