This adults-only pad scores top points for relaxation, it’s all down to its snoozy pool scene which is made up of a trio of pools with whirlpool baths. Swaying palms pepper the surrounding gardens, and they’re joined by a series of smart sunloungers. The best news is you don’t have to worry about dashing out to save a sunbed, all thanks to the hotel’s policy of having more beds than guests. And, if you’re heading here for some winter sun, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s also an indoor pool which is heated from November to April.
When it comes to food you’ve got plenty of choice – the buffet breakfast is a lavish affair that teams Buck’s Fizz with made-to-order omelettes, waffles and pancakes. The poolside restaurants, meanwhile, are the perfect spot for lunch. And in the evenings, you can dine at the buffet restaurant – things are kept fresh with regular themed nights such as Italian, Oriental and Greek. Or there’s the two à la cartes, one with great sea views and the other is a romantic candle-lit spot. Plus, they both boast some great Tripadvisor reviews.
The evenings here are low-key, expect solo singers and duos to make an appearance. Things tend to step up a bit on barbecue nights, with traditional Cypriot dancing out by the pool. The cocktail bar stays open ‘til 1am, so you can sit back with a cocktail and enjoy the live music.

Set on the beachfront, this place is perfect if sun, sea and sand are on your agenda. There are three huge pools to make a splash in, two have their own whirlpool and there’s also an adults-only pool. Plus, they all offer great views – they’re so close to the shoreline it’s almost impossible to see where they stop and the sea starts. Children get a duo of pools to themselves. Not to mention, a splash area with two water slides and spray toys. There’s also plenty of space to spread out, thanks to a scattering of sunloungers around the gardens, and shade comes courtesy of palm trees. Plus, there’s no need to move a muscle to get a drink – the poolside bar offers waiter-service drinks, so you can have them delivered directly to your sunlounger.
When it comes to food, you can pick from six restaurants – four à la cartes, a beach bar that serves snacks and the buffet restaurant. The best bit? The views – all of the restaurants face out to sea. The main buffet serves up breakfast and dinner, often with themed nights. And a pick ’n’ mix of à la cartes includes Cypriot and Italian numbers. There’s also a weekly Cypriot or Greek night by the pool or in the gardens in the summer, where traditional dishes are paired with music, singing and dancing.
The Nectar Bar is the venue for night-time entertainment. Expect a mix of quizzes, shows and live music. During the summer, there's a mini-disco and live music by the pool, too, and the bar near the beach stays open until 12am. Oh, and did we mention the rooftop adults-only bar that’s great for sunset cocktails? You’re welcome.
There are plenty of activities here too, with tennis and aqua aerobics leading the way. Try your hand at green bowls* and shuffleboard or hire bikes* and take a ride to Paphos Harbour. Little ones aren’t forgotten either, there’s a playground, and a hotel-run kids’ club from May to October, plus a games room*.
