Around the world with The World Cook

A bunch of TUI BLUE hotels and ROBINSON clubs feature in this cookery show with Fred Sirieix and Emma Willis.

Let's get cooking

We provide the backdrop for The World Cook, a competitive cooking show which sees international chefs going up against each other in a range of TUI BLUE hotels, ROBINSON clubs and destinations – from Iceland to Thailand. Got your eyes on somewhere you want to visit? No problem – here are all the places and hotels that played host to the chefs in series one and two. If you haven’t seen it yet, what’re you waiting for? Every episode is available now on Prime Video.

Destinations

Each week the contestants competed in a different destination. Here are all the places you might have spotted in series one and two…

Series two

Turkey

Turkey

Eight contestants faced a cook-off in the UK in episode one. Then, the four quarterfinalists took off to Turkey for round two. Their destination was Dalaman – famous for the Blue Lagoon, where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet.

Iceland

Iceland

It was time to meet the next set of contestants in episode two. Following their cook-off in the UK, the four quarterfinalists headed to Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik.

Croatia

Croatia

Croatia was calling in the third episode, as three of the semi-finalists headed to Kolocep – a tiny island a 25-minute ferry ride from Dubrovnik. It’s car-free, and at the last count, home to less than 200 people.

Crete

Crete

Greece’s biggest island was on the cards for episode five, as the next set of semi-finalists faced off in Crete. The showdown took place in Elounda – a cute fishing village on the island’s north coast.

Thailand

Thailand

The finale called for a far-flung destination. Cue Thailand. The two finalists went head to head in their final cooking showdown in laidback Khao Lak – given the high stakes, it wasn’t exactly the relaxing retreat they had in mind, though!

Series one

Majorca

Majorca

After the series kicked off in the UK, the first quarter-finalists made a move to Majorca – the biggest of the Balearic islands. It’s home to more than 250 beaches, but the chefs had no time to spare for sunbathing.

Austria

Austria

The next set of contestants went beyond the beach, with this week’s cook-off setting up shop beside the ski slopes in Austria. Sadly, it looks like they’d missed all the snow, though!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Episode four called into The Netherland’s capital, Amsterdam. Thanks to a short flight time, this place is a top pick for city breaks, but let’s just say checking out the city’s museums was firmly off the agenda.

Croatia

Croatia

It was back to the beach for this episode, with the final set of quarter-finalists cooking up a storm right beside the Adriatic Sea in Croatia.

Italy

Italy

Italy’s famous for its food, so it feels like a perfect pick for the semi-final. You probably won’t be surprised when we tell you pasta made an appearance in this week’s cook-off.

Mexico

Mexico

The finalists went far flung for their last challenge, as they took off to Mexico’s Riviera Maya, on the Caribbean Coast. They were tasked with creating a gourmet signature menu, before Fred and Emma announced the winner.
