Step 2 – Decide when you want to go

There are a few things to think about when you’re deciding on the right time to visit Universal Orlando Resort, from seasonal events to how hot it might be.

Florida weather

For the most comfortable weather, aim for late October to early April, when the mercury hovers around the 20°C mark. Temperatures are at their highest in the summer – think high 30s – and from June to September, rain and thunderstorms are common.

Seasonal events. Tie in an event to your holiday. Calendar highlights include Halloween Horror Nights*, which come complete with haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment. In December, dive into festive events, like Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Or, time your trip to coincide with Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavour of Carnaval, which runs from early February to mid-April and ticks off food and carnival celebrations from around the world. Check out Universal's events.
