I already have the TUI Travel Money app but have seen there’s now a new app available. Will my existing app automatically update to the new version?
No – to use the new and improved TUI Travel Money Card app, you’ll need to download it separately from the App Store or Google Play on your Apple or Android device. Once downloaded, tap ‘First time here? Sign up’ to register your TUI Travel Money Card(s). Just so you know, you’ll need access to the email address associated with your TUI Travel Money Card and your mobile phone for verification. You’ll then be prompted to set a new password and secure passcode.
I’ve downloaded the new TUI Travel Money Card app but my existing TUI Travel Money app login details aren’t working – why not?
This is a new app, so your old login details won’t work. You’ll need to register again by tapping ‘First time here? Sign up’.
You’ll need access to the email address linked to your TUI Travel Money Card and your mobile phone for verification. You’ll then be asked to set a new password and passcode.
I have more than one TUI Travel Money Card account, will I be able to access both via the app?
If you have more than one account, please contact our Travel Money Card Customer Services team on 0203 1300 133. Calls from UK landlines cost the standard rate. Calls from mobiles may be higher – please check with your provider.
What can I do in the new TUI Travel Money Card app?
Wherever you are in the world, the app puts you in control. You can view your PIN, check your balance and transactions, top up your card, and move money between currencies in seconds. Soon, you’ll be able to tap and pay using your mobile wallet. The app also lets you freeze or block your card if it’s lost or stolen. And don’t worry, the card isn’t linked to your bank account, so your money stays safe.
How can I change my password?
Log in to the app and go to Settings > Security > Change your password. You’ll need to enter your current password and then your new one. If you’ve forgotten your password, follow the steps to reset your password in the app.
Can I turn on face ID/biometric login?
Yes. Once logged in, head to Settings > Security and switch the toggle on for Biometric login. Just so you know, you’ll still need your passcode to approve account top ups and switching between currencies.
How do I view my PIN?
Tap on the ‘cards icon’ in the lower navigation bar and tap ‘See PIN’. You’ll then need to enter your 6-digit app passcode that you created when you set up the app. The PIN will then appear for 15 seconds. Each card has a different PIN, so make sure to check the last 4 digits match the card you want to view.
I think I’ve lost my card – can I temporarily freeze it?
Yes, you can temporarily freeze your card on the TUI Travel Money Card app. Open the app, tap the ‘cards’ icon in the lower navigation bar and select ‘Freeze’. You’ll then see a confirmation message once the card is successfully frozen. To unfreeze your card just select ‘Unfreeze’.
Can I add my TUI Travel Money Card to my mobile wallet?
Not yet – but this feature is coming soon. An app update will be released once available, so please keep an eye out for updates.
I have a new phone and want to set the app up on my new phone – how can I do this?
First, open the app on your existing phone and select Settings > Security > Unpair your phone. You’ll need to enter your password to unpair the app from your phone. Then, download the app on your new phone and sign in as usual. You’ll be prompted to pair the new device. You’ll need access to the mobile number linked to your TUI Travel Money Card account to do this. If you’re unable to unpair your phone for any reason, please call our helpline on 0203 1300 133. Calls from UK landlines cost the standard rate. Calls from mobiles may be higher – please check with your provider.
