Top attractions at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

This place is teeming with top-notch attractions for little ones all the way up to big kids. Here’s a handful for starters…

Surf Pool

Ride the waves in the Surf Pool. It’s the signature attraction here, and one of the biggest wave pools in the world. Listen out for the thunderous ‘sonic boom’ and prepare to paddle as the little ripples morph into six-foot high waves – perfect for thrill-seekers.

Ketchakiddee Creek

Miniature slides, fountains, waterfalls and a small sandy beach – they’re all on the cards at Ketchakiddee Creek, which is just for little ones. Squirting seals, playful elephants and whimsical crocodiles all put in an appearance, too, and there’s even a water cannon onboard the leaky tugboat – S.S. Squirt.

Crush ‘n’ Gusher

Water coasters don’t get much more thrilling than this 400-foot-long tube slide. Grab a partner and pick from one of three ‘fruit chutes’ —the Pineapple Plunger, Coconut Crusher or Banana Blaster – then defy gravity as gushing jets of water propel you around sharp corners, sudden drops and lights-out chutes.

Miss Adventure Falls

Grab the whole family for this thrilling, white-water ride down raging rapids. Captain Mary Oceaneer – a sea-faring treasure hunter – lost her haul in a rogue typhoon many years ago, and after you hop aboard your four-person raft, keep your eyes peeled for her precious artefacts and even a talking parrot as you whizz past.

Gangplank Falls

Grab a four-person raft and whoosh along a 300-foot river of rapids. You’ll spin and bank from side to side as you make your way down the mountain, through rocky caverns, powerful waterfalls and under rustic wooden bridges.

Dining at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

You’ll never go hungry or thirsty here, with seven places dotted around the Water Park for snacks, drinks and light bites. Here’s a trio to tickle your taste buds…

Typhoon Tilly’s

Fried fish platters, chicken strips and tropical salads all make the menu at this shipwreck-inspired eatery.

Let’s Go Slurpin’

Take a break from the rides with a Slurpin’ Mojito, a Pina CoLAVA and plenty more at this bar, which is right next to Surf Doggies – the prime spot for a foot-long hot dog.

Leaning Palms

Quick bites are the order of the day here – think rice bowls, burgers, pizza and salads, including plant-based options.
