Introducing Cunard

Cunard overview

A cruise with Cunard lets you travel the world in ultimate comfort, while spending time doing as much or as little as you like. Everything’s taken care of down to the finest details, so you’re free to unwind and relax – from finding your inner zen during an art class to singing your favourite tune on karaoke. If relaxing by the pool’s more your style, there’s a lounger with your name on it.

Cruise ships

Cunard’s got four ships in its fleet – the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Victoria, the flagship Queen Mary 2 and the latest addition, the Queen Anne. Each one’s grand in scale and stylish down to the smallest detail, with a list of activity-and-entertainment options to keep you busy while you’re sailing from A to B.

Itineraries and destinations

Everything from rugged landscapes to colourful cityscapes fill the roundup of destinations on Cunard’s sailings. You can choose to set sail to closer-to-home spots in Northern Europe, or venture across the pond to North America’s New York. Plus, their festive sailings could line you up with Christmas in the Caribbean, or New Year’s Eve in Portugal’s Madeira.

Onboard experience and service

When you sail with Cunard you’ll have loads of dining options, top-class entertainment and plenty of activities to keep you busy while you’re on board.

Dining

The dining scene on board Cunard’s ships has got everything from Gastro-style pubs with classic British menus, to fine-dining restaurants and international buffets serving dishes from around the globe. And the menu options range from hearty to healthy, so you’ve got a dish to go for whatever your appetite.

Entertainment

The Royal Court Theatre is the hub of evening entertainment on all four ships, with West End-style shows, cabaret acts and dance troupes all on the bill. You can get even closer to the action on selected sailings, when evening shows are performed in cosy areas around the ship.

Accommodation

Each suite or stateroom comes with an en suite bathroom with Penhaligon toiletries, a hairdryer, a safe and tea and coffee making facilities. Their double staterooms boast king-sized beds – or twins – and their single staterooms offer generously sized single beds. Complimentary room service is available 24 hours a day, too.

Activities

There are loads of options if you’re up for keeping active while you’re on board. You can hot-foot it to a tango lesson, or spend the afternoon crafting cocktails in a martini mixology class. Fencing, watercolour painting and shuffleboard are all part of the activities programme, too. If you’d prefer to relax with a read, you can choose from more than 6,000 books in the ship’s huge library.

Optional extras

If you’re looking for something extra special to add to your cruise, there are lots of little touches you can choose from. We’re talking everything from excursions and onboard gifts to wine and celebration packages.
