Hotel good for a 3star
We did not have the upgraded room as there were none available when we booked, but would advise to book the upgraded room with poolveiw,as we were on a busy main road. Good hairdryer in room with shampoo etc., Food was very good something for everyone would go back with upgradeMore
For a 3* hotel the service and food are excellent. We did not stay in the bar most evenings, just once really as we prefer a change of scenery. The Whiskey Jar down the road is great for a drink and entertainment- they have some good tribute acts.More
Booked this hotel after reading the reviews but really dissapointed. After requesting a room on a high floor as we usually do we were given room 314 which was not on a high floor. The room overlooked the pool and was in a small corner with a wall on the balcony rather than glass. The balcony was tiny! No privacy on the balcony and if you didn't keep the curtains shut people could see into your room. The balcony door the same as the cupboard door made the most tremendous noise when opening and closing so if my husband was sleeping I couldn't open either or I would have woken him up. There was no lock on the balcony door. Inside the room we had a big pillar so that took up a lot of space. If like me your an early riser and I would normally go to the pool area and relax with my book there was no chance as the first set of sun beds were unlocked at 9am then the beds around the pool were unlocked at 0930! Not sure why they are kept locked. The toilet in our bathroom sounded like it was constantly filling so this was annoying at times.if the air con was on the noise on the balcony from it was extremely loud so we would leave off most of the time. This was an anniversary celebration holiday and we were kindly given a bottle of bubbly on the day but I would have preferred a better room. Not sure if there are any nicer rooms. The positives are the cleanliness is good and lovely fresh towels when needed. The breakfast was excellent with a massive choice of all sorts of hot and cold food. Location was ok if you like a walk. I wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel again and wish I had stuck to my original choice of the Sol hotel on the beachfront as here you have no views of anything.More
