Cala Mesquida holidays
Jump to sections
Holidays to Cala Mesquida offer up a peaceful atmosphere, countryside views, and a postcard-worthy beach.
A peaceful place
Cala Mesquida's one of the more laid-back places to stay in Majorca. It’s perched on the north-eastern coastline, where turquoise waters and powder-fine sands are in good supply. Most people are drawn here by the white-sand beach and traditional Majorcan cuisine.
Knockout beach
The town’s beach is a little different to Spain's usual sunbathing sweeps. It's an unusual strip of porcelain-coloured sand, which is backed by a blanket of dunes and greenery. It’s also been blessed with calm, sky-blue water. And a constant gentle breeze means it's perfect for watersports like body boarding and windsurfing. There are a couple of nearby restaurants, too.
Days out in Artà
The good-looking town of Artà is a short, 15-minute drive away. A quick look around reveals blooming gardens, cobbled streets and a 14th-century fortress, which overlooks a plunging hillside. This place is a prime spot for walkers and bikers, as well. You can explore the town by foot, or jump on a mountain bike and tackle the hills.
