This hotel is close to the beach, and it comes with a lounge bar that hosts comedians, live singers and tribute acts.
It’s a minute’s walk to the sandy cove at Cal d’es Pou and Cala Egos, a little area of Cala d'Or dotted with shops and restaurants. And there’s a marina complete with cafés and bars just five minutes’ walk away.
Dining is covered by two restaurants – one here, one at the hotel-owned complex over the road. There’s also a lounge bar which fills up each night for live shows. You get a choice of two pools, too.

A clean spacious hotel. Room fine again clean and spacious and with a safe that does not require a deposit. Have to point out that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The dinning room is a buffet but I have to say the food was very good, plentiful and a wide variety available each night. The entertainment was good and enjoyable. The hotel wifi is only available in the public areas. The hotel guests were mainly on the older side, I'm in my mid fifties and I felt on the young side.More
Second visit, first class once again
On my return to this hotel I came as a solo visitor, as knew I would be in safe hands. My room was of a high standard and had a safe in the wardrobe which was a great improvement from last year as the safes were located in the reception area. As I had a superior room I didn't have to take my kettle which meant more room for clothes though if I did have a gripe then all the rooms could have kettles in them. The location is quiet and there is a larger family hotel over the road which could be heard from the balcony. The food was excellent once again and I think the staff excell in producing the amount of choices they offer. I really don't understand some of the other gripes people mention I personally think they are nit picking. The staff are fabulous and are very attentive to your needs and are also very honest as I have left a necklace in my room and reception is sending it back to me for which I am truly grateful. The hotel reps were always happy and jolly and the lady who took us to the market was really helpful. Entertainment was great every night too. I think the hotel would benefit in offering an all exclusive option. The resort is quite a walk from the main Cala D'or area and could be too long for some but the option of the land train is welcome but please catch it up near Mollies,as it gets rather full at the number 6 stop. Once again the hotel lives up-to the mainly fantastic reviews, so my advice would be to book your holiday here and find out for yourselves.More
Bad start to the holiday! Room 161!!!
Arrived late in the evening and probably because of this were given a shocking room for our 2 week stay situated immediately above the stage and with absolutely no outlook. Couldn't go to bed until the noise from below finished at midnight. Why would a couple in their 70s, or anyone, be expected to put up with this. Immediately went to reception and asked to be moved but was told that I would have to wait and ask the manager at 10 the next day and if I wanted a nice room I should have booked an executive room or a suite. Didn't unpack or sleep. Went back after breakfast and got a quiet and much bigger room immediately. Nice hotel but more like a social club for the elderly who seem to think that because they're regulars they get top priority, and it was noticed they usually did. Didn't like the table lay-out. Too close together and you're given your table on arrival. Too bad if you don't want to engage in conversation with other diners. Can't understand why it's not open dining as it was at the Gold hotel at Camp de Mar where we went last year. Maitre de Juan was first class and always tried to please as did all the waiting staff. Food good although area a bit congested. Cleaning and maintenance staff were excellent. Probably wouldn't go back as we're not into quizzes day and evening, bowls, darts etc and being patronised by the entertainment staff.More
Visited another Gold Hotel on Majorca
We decided to visit another Tui Gold hotel on Majorca We could find no faults at all with the Hotel the Food Rooms and grounds were all very good Staff very polite and the Hotel itself was kept clean to a high standard The Thomson (Sorry Tui ) Staff were all very efficient and the Entertainment staff were very good at their jobs. The only observation on my part was that I found it rather hilly and difficult to get around area but my mobility is not good any way..All in all a nice relaxing and enjoyable stay. More

Lovely hotel in a nice location.
We wanted a relaxing week in the sun before the winter and this hotel ticked the boxes. It is a traditional rather than ultra modern building which is well maintained and immaculately clean. The rooms are well equipped with no extra charges for safes etc. The food was excellent- always hot, fresh and with good quality ingredients and we loved eating out on the lovely terrace. The pool area is a bit cramped but lots of room in the garden and on the roof terrace. Lots of outside space to sit and relax with a drink or a nice lunch. Snacks and meals at lunchtime were good and reasonably priced. The hotel also has the Tennis club bar/restaurant and pool opposite the hotel and the beach bar. Our favourite was by far the Tennis club for the peaceful relaxing feel. Well worth 9 euros a day for 2 sunbeds. The hotel staff were without exception friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent service. The Maitre'd ran the restaurant like a well oiled machine and our adorable waitress Laura was happy, smiling and went out of her way to help. The staff are a credit to the management and they should be proud of their greatest asset. Were there any negatives? Just a couple - we like a quiet relaxing holiday and generally Cala Egos is an upmarket unspoilt if modern resort with minimal historical or old buildings. There is however a large family hotel next to the Rocamarina which is loud day and night. Their entertainment is in the garden in close proximity to the rooms at the front of the hotel and in the evening it was impossible to have a quiet drink until after 11 or 12 at weekends. As previously noted the client of the hotel are generally I would estimate 70+ and the entertainment is geared to this era. It was very busy in the evening and it was difficult to find a quiet corner. It just felt a bit ' old' for us even at 50+. Our biggest issue was the Tui reps and ' entertainment ' staff. The interaction of the 3 reps was on a need only basis or at the ' Welcome' meeting. They were clearly doing what they needed to do with no real interest or enthusiasm. I overheard one of the girls dealing with a complaint and her manner and response was dire. The 2 girls in charge of the entertainment would have been much more suited to Magaluf. They were very immature and most of the time simply annoying with repetitive quizzes and games which were patronising to the clientele. This is a Tui Gold hotel and these are the most disappointing Tui staff we have met anywhere. Do not let our negatives put you off this hotel - they are personal gripes and not related to the hotel itself. It is lovely place and we enjoyed our week in the sun.More
