Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park

I'll start by saying I wouldn't give it 5 stars... it would be more 4 star in my opinion (based mainly on the fact that some of the furniture in the apartment was a bit tatty) but that doesn't take away from the wonderful hotel that it is. It is spotlessly clean, the staff, as mentioned before, friendly and efficient. The animation team are amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening shows. Our young teenage son made some friends and we felt very safe letting him mix with them around the complex. We were AI which was probably a bit too much for us as my husband isn't a drinker and me, not so much either. But the food was amazing and plentiful. We had a family room on the third floor with amazing views and a large balcony. The only downside was there were no sunbeds on the balcony - just a very small table and two quite uncomfortable chairs. It's a shame as we would have liked to spend a bit more time relaxing on our own balcony. We did phone reception and ask for one but they refused our request. Nevertheless, we do hope to return in the near future and would love to spend Christmas here again. It was a wonderful Christmas for us.

Overall hotel is in good location with easy access to local shops, bar and resturants. Short walk from beach . We were all inclusive so all drinks, three meals included with mini bar stocked daily and included. Good points: ideal sea front beautiful location , excellent service with good choice of food for all the meals , christmas eve and day activities were fun for kids and family Few things could be better in room as on our arrival mini bar fridge was not working and we had to wait for a day for it be sorted , twin beds in main bedroom was big disappointment and on requesting it to be made into double , they agreed to do double the next day and never did it . I must say entertainment was just ok for both adults and kids. Entertainment for kids is not stuctured although they do try their best to entertain. Mini club is very small and can be improved with some indoor soft play and more stuctured activities for kids. Adult nighttime entertainment was very average . Nothing fancy which u would like to watch apart from african acrobat show . If i will be returning , i will come back to lanzarote but not sure abt this resort in particular Would rate it 4 star in my opinion

Stayed at Iberostar just before Christmas, helped by great weather the Hotel is ideally licated to walk the promenades into Pkaya Blanca and beyond. Hotel very clean and staff exceptionally helpful. Restaurant offers excellent choices both breakfast and Dinner. Sweets are much the same but that is true of most hotels. Freshly cooked main courses available only criticism would be a choice of vegetables but that is being picky. As returning clients we were showered with free water, a borttle of Rioja Fresh Melon during our stay. Rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and free safe depisit. Best of all so many sunbeds you didnt need to be up withnthe lark to reseve them Well done Iberostar we will be back for the sun !
