Heated pool area
Having just returned from spending 1wk in the Lanzarote Princess, staff was lovely, pool area was clean, rooms spacious, only 1 downside was the garden gate that you could exit to get to beach or bars across the road, closed at midnight so then you would have to walk long way round to front of hotel to get in, why they did this is beyond me as you could only gain entry if you were staying there as you had to swipe your door card to open the gate. Not good if your travelling with oap's who can't walk to farMore
Great Hotel and Staff
This is the first time we have been to Lanzarote but the second H10 hotel we have stayed in and H10 Lanzarote Princess you have changed our opinion of H10. From start to finish we could not fault your hotel. On arrival we were asked very quickly if we would like a drink of cava, orange or water then we were dealt with quickly by the reception staff everything clearly explained to us and then told that if we took our cases to our rooms then came back to the restaurant there was a cold buffet laid out for late arrivals. There was some bread rolls, meat and there would have been cheese but it had all gone so maybe someone could check on what is laid out occasionally. When we got to our room which was quite a hike right down the end of the hotel we were not happy with it as I don't like to be on the ground floor and it was on the main road and we are not use to traffic noise, I went back to reception and explained about this and they asked if we could spend the night in the room they would change it for us the next morning. Next morning we had a letter under our door asking us to go to reception to change our room which was perfect for us. This change was done so easily and the reception staff were so helpful with this matter. We even got a phone call the day after checking that our room was ok for us which we thought was a nice touch. The meals were lovely I am a very picky eater and don't expect any hotel to please me every night but I found something every night to eat as there were so many choices to choose from, loads of different fish and meat dishes and veg dishes as well so everyone was catered for. It was a lovely suprise on friday night when we had just sat down at 8pm and there was a saxaphone player and then the next thing you heard singing coming from within the restaurant and saw 4 waiters singing they were amazing everyone stopped to listen to them, they sang a couple of songs then just went back to serving etc like it had never happened you have to hear them if you are there at 8pm on a friday they are really good and I think it is Il Divo from the entertainments night. Our room was always clean and we couldn't fault the person cleaning our room it smelt lovely and fresh every day when we came back to it. Angela in reception is lovely and she was so helpful to us, my husband is disabled and because of this we needed more time than you are normally allowed in the courtesy room giving us plenty of time to have a shower and get changed. Loads of sun beds it was different to have the umbrellas screwed down but we understand it can be very windy there so this would be why. I would just say a few more umbrellas would help. The only thing I would say is that parts of reception are looking tired and the white chairs are looking a little dirty and made you not want to sit on them, also where the video games machine is the floor is very bad and needs repairing someone could catch their heels in the carpeting and fall. All in all this is a lovely hotel and has changed our opinion of H10 hotels after the one we went to in Tenerife earlier in the year we would definately go back to Playa Blanca and would definately rebook at H10 Lanzarote Princess. We cannot find fault at all and everyone who works here is so polite and friendly.More
Not 4 star for us.
Returned today after 12 days at the lanzarote princess reading other reviews I think these customers are easy pleased . check in smooth and friendly but no help to find no rooms with porterage as some other 4 star hotels have booked a superior room apart from robes and tea coffee making facilities seemed no different to other rooms . main pool areas are rather tired and worn out sunbeds stained fraying and some downright dirty pool towels the same thin and have seen better days . the sunbeds around in door pool are much better. The food was my biggest disappointment never seen a roast at dinner or mushrooms at breakfast if you like pork and chicken every afternoon and night then you will love it here . I spoke to the manager about the lack of roasts but nothing changed and asked at reception about lack of grilled mushrooms at breakfast again no response. But the final straw for me was hamburgers hot dogs and fried eggs for dinner is not 4 star fayre .the lack of displayed menus didn't help a/I customers plan there meals as 60% of lunch was repeated at dinner .salads and sweets fine the ala carte was also poor three course meal we were in and out in 40 minutes obviously all prepared in advance . on the plus side the drinks on a/I were all branded the staff were also very obliging great location if you like a walk after dinner . I waited a long time to try the lanzarote princess and it will be a hell of a long time before I go back if ever I doubt if I would book H10 group again either.More
Just returned from a fab holiday with my husband and our 3 year old. Great food and staff were polite at all times. Room was cleaned daily which is fab. Service in the snack bar and grill area was slow at times, as do the lifts but I do tend to be impatient. Pool area was fab and clean. We had a late airport pick up and were offered a shower room to get freshened up before out flights. All in all. A perfect holiday. More
The hotel was amazing and lovely food, hotel was very clean and tidy. Only thing that I was a bit unhappy about was the entertainment...the piano room was lovely and relaxing but think this could be mixed up with a disco or something for the younger 30's couples, apart from that would defo be coming again! With kids tho next time as seemed to have a lot of things going on for them and think they would love it at this hotel ! Fab hotel fab location situated right near a great harbour full of restaurants and shops.More
