Benikaktus has bagged a top spot at the head of Benidorm’s famous Levante Beach, with sweeping sea views from the restaurant, pool area and bar terrace.
Benikaktus has the best of both worlds from its end-of-the-beach plot. It’s tucked away from Benidorm’s busy centre, but close enough to stroll to the seafront in less than five minutes, and reach the town centre in 20.
This place ticks all the classic holiday boxes. It’s got a swimming pool surrounded by sunloungers, a restaurant dealing in big buffets, and musicians and flamenco dancers performing at night.

shocking if there was a rating for 0 that would be applied
hi there just came back from a package holiday with jet 2 for 10 nights to this hotel. .the staff are not interested in complaints and are not hospitable one bit...do not accept an apartment from them.. very dirty. no kettle...no smoke alarms (we were 14 floors up) floor was never washed the 10 days we were there..shower door hanging off ...beasties running about the toilet floor...ripped sheets on bed...lift kept breaking down could mention more but all in all a terrible experience...and jet 2 do not honour your holiday complained to 2 reps while over there and when back home still no satisfaction ..generally no body is interested as long as they have your money it doesn.t matter...just don.t go thereMore
First time at this hotel although have visited Benidorm a number of times over the years. Read the reviews and was absolutely delighted with the hotel. 10 steps down to the beach just as the reviews said which was brilliant. Extremely clean and well run and the sea views are spectacular. Will definitely visit this hotel again.More
Never given this score out of all the hotels I have stayed in Benikaktus 11/10+
Reading the negative reviews always find out for yourself. The seaviews are stunning. I thought rooms old fashioned Spanish styling (which I like )before I visited -but gotta have cracked tiles, damaged furniture etc NO THEY WERE NOT rooms were large with louvre doors which opened out to the balcony which made the room even bigger. I am asthmatic and cardiac hill is not that bad there is a side entrance through the hotel bar only 5 stairs and noticed mobility scooters parked in the car park. I have stayed in much higher standard hotels with loads of food choices which cause queues and chewy meat with bones in NOT at the hotel Benikaktus best cuts of meat. LOADS of vegetarian choice. The staff are very hardworking and it must be sole destroying for the chef with all his hardwork having to cater for all nationalities with these reviews. I challenge the critcs with a bake off with him (I know who would win) Good selection of sweets Lift very fast Pool not crowded easy to get a lounger. I had do not desturb sign on as I am not an early riser and going late for breakfast took it off and the maids were like little fairies when you got back to your room, it was nice and clean they seem to stay as long as it takes for every guest to vacate their rooms each day to clean. As I said I have stayed in loads of hotels in the world with higher ratings and give Hotel Benikaktus 11 out of 10 and shall be back next year with a large group to celebrate my 50th Birthday Karen Mackie stayed 4th September Room 910 THANKS FOR THE LOVELY STAYMore

Ignore the bad reviews ! I was worried before I stayed and really didn't need to. We had room 210 at the end of the hotel and had the best view from any hotel I have ever stayed in Benidorm and have visited over 30 times. The staff are very friendly , their English is limited yes , but if you try and speak some simple Spanish yourself it goes a long way . The rooms are spotless , a little dated but very comfortable . We had a super king sized bed! The receptionist offered it to us on arrival . The room has a bath/ power shower , hand wash/ shower gel is provided from dispensers. Towels changed daily. Bed linen once a week . Hairdryer in bathroom . Flat screen tv with only English news channels. Dressing table actually has a mirror and electric sockets There is a mini bar style fridge and you can fit large drinks bottles in it. There is a safe in your room at a cost of €15 per week . We found the hotel to be quiet at night. If you want a lie in just make sure you turn the lock on your door then the cleaning staff know you want privacy in your room , you don't need to put a do not disturb sign on it . The staff do not come into your room early to clean unless you want them too. Our cleaner was brilliant . There is a conservatory/ balcony separated by bi folding doors with windows that can be pulled back as a large patio area with the most amazing views over the bay. The food was of good quality , not quite as good a choice as other Benidorm hotels I have stayed in but there was always something we liked. Drinks can be ordered from your table . The restaurant was never too busy and you were always shown to a table and not left wandering about . The hotel pool is small but you never struggled to get a sunbed, however it is very hot on the sun terrace with no parasols. The beach though is right on your door step . It's a 15 min walk to the main bars around the strip and a mile and a half walk to the old town along the promenade . Drinks are reasonable at the hotel with a lovely seating area outside. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the Benikaktus and would definitely return to this hotel . Thank you to all the staff .More
Good hotel with amazing views
Hotel room was very clean and had amazing views. I found most of the staff were pleasant. The hotel is on a hill, but there is a path at the side of the hotel that leads to an entrance into the hotel bar and it is much easier to go in that entrance. I went out most evenings to meet up with friends for dinner, but ate breakfast and some lunches in the hotel. The food was okay and there was a good variety. Breakfasts were good, but some fresh orange juice would have been nice instead of watered down cordial. It's probably more suited to the over 40s. Pool is quite small, but there is also a Jacuzzi. There was always plenty of beds by the pool. I didn't see any of the evening entertainment so can't comment on it. It was a good base, suited my requirements and I would stay there again.More
