    About the villa

    Set in its own well-tended gardens, the Villa Casa do Marco is a ten-minute walk from the heart of Sesmarias, a small village near Albufeira. Hop in a car, and you can be on the beach in 15 minutes.

    A large pool is bordered by a sun terrace dotted with citrus-yellow sunloungers. You can see right across to the island of Farol on a clear day. There’s also a Portuguese barbecue by the poolside.

    This former family home has been lovingly restored. Take the pool-view dining room and three bedrooms – they’re all decked out in dark-wood furniture and patterned rugs.
