About the villa
Tucked away on a wooded hillside, Villa Cerca de Cima looks out over the ocean and hills. It’s surrounded by greenery – vines corkscrew around trellises and an ancient fig tree spreads its wings. There’s a really relaxed feel about this former pub. Simple and pretty on the outside, it’s just as lovely inside, where patchwork bedspreads and floral prints offset whitewashed walls.
A flower garden surrounds the stone bathing pool at Villa Cerca de Cima. It’s been cleverly created from the property’s former cistern, so it’s a modest size but pretty nonetheless.
The country cottage charm of Villa Cerca de Cima hasn’t been kept at the expense of creature comforts – the kitchen is well-fitted with a cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer.
