Hungary’s weather is a tale of two extremes – summers can hit baking temperatures, while the winter months see the mercury plummet into the minus. From May to September, the heat moves between the high teens to the mid-twenties and back again, but July has been known to see 30°C or more. In January and February, it’s a different story, when the temperature drops to around -2°C.
