NO LUCK
There aren’t any last minute holidays in Lindos left at the moment. Why not take a look at some of the other options?
Our last minute holidays to Lindos, in Rhodes, whisk you away to open countryside, pretty coves and ancient ruins.
A pair of beaches
Forget the Costa Blanca or Majorca — the waters around Lindos are some of the clearest in the Mediterranean. Lindos Beach lines up a crescent of sunlounger-striped sand. St Paul’s Bay, meanwhile, has picturesque appeal, thanks to the rugged shore and tiny Greek Orthodox church.
Well-preserved backstreets
The labyrinthine streets of Lindos were designed to confuse invaders and pirates — and it works just as well with travellers. It’s a little village, so you’ll never be lost for long, but wandering around sans map will get you tripping over backstreets lined with grand merchants’ houses and tiny fishing cottages.
The Acropolis of Lindos
The best views in town come courtesy of the Acropolis of Lindos, which perches on the hill beside the village. Honey-gold stone dresses a Roman temple of Athena, Hellenistic stairways, a 14th-century fortress, and a Byzantine church.
