Luxury holidays to Malia

Luxury holidays to Malia introduce you to the beach resort’s quiet side – from stylish hotels to high-end spa therapies.

Four-star hotels

Luxury hotels in Malia are little islands of calm in a beach resort that celebrates lively nights. Take the Hotel Cretan Park — a lazy river winds through the stylish gardens. The Kernos Beach, meanwhile, stretches out alongside a peaceful stripe of sand. Best of all? They’re both less than a 20-minute walk away from the centre of Malia.

Travel Crete in style

The gin-clear waters of the Mediterranean are top scuba diving territory. Caves, sunken wrecks and underwater valleys host neon starfish and grumpy moray eels.

Meanwhile, a real archaeological gem lies just outside of Malia — the ruins of a royal Minoan holiday home. Alternatively, head for the Bronze Age Palace of Knossos, the mythical home of the Minotaur. Cretan capital Heraklion is well worth a look, too, thanks to its Venetian and Turkish architecture.
