Of all Istria’s seaside towns, Novigrad has kept one of the lowest profiles. As a result, its traditional fishing village character has stuck to it like glue. Museums and churches

Novigrad’s paint palette houses are tourist attractions in themselves. The walls are painted in colours like berry purple and sunshine yellow. Sandwiched between the tutti frutti buildings, you’ll find a good selection of museums and churches. There’s even a palace that dates back to the mid-1700s.
