Get away either side of summer

If the first thing you do when you arrive at your room is switch on the air-con – even before you’ve checked out the view – then this one’s for you. Get away in Europe in April, October or November and you’ll not only land to cooler temps, but also save some serious £££s. Flights to some destinations – like Rhodes, Crete and Majorca – start earlier and finish later in the year than most, and prices at these times are often much lower than in the peak of summer.
