Best time to go to Tobago

Things stay toasty throughout the year in Tobago, with average temperatures of 25°C from start to finish. Savvy travellers tend to head here between January and April, when the tropical rainfall’s least likely to be an issue. There’s more chance of a downpour between June and November, but the mercury can still hit 28°C at any time of year.

Passports & Visas

British nationals do not need a visa to visit Trinidad and Tobago. Visitors are generally given 90 days to remain in the country but extensions can be obtained from the Passport and Immigration Department, 67 Frederick Street, Port of Spain.

You must be in possession of a valid return ticket and have sufficient funds for your stay in Trinidad and Tobago. All travellers to Trinidad and Tobago must complete an online Arrival & Departure Card before they travel. This has replaced the previous paper form.
The form can be completed up to 72 hours before departure. You’ll need to upload a photo of your passport details page, then save or print your QR code receipt to show at immigration on arrival and departure. The form is available at the Trinidad and Tobago Online Immigration & Customs Portal.
