      These sea-view junior suites are in the villa section, which means you'll have access to two extra pools and two extra poolside bars. They're for adults only and come with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, an integrated lounge area with a sofa, satellite TV, a hairdryer, iron and board and turndown service. Refreshments are sorted, too - there’s a coffee maker, minibar and an in-room optic that's regularly refilled with premium spirits. The bathroom comes with a hydromassage bath and double sinks.

    Stayed here for a week. Staff was friendly. Buffet needs more options. Italian specialty restaurant was my favorite....loved the lamb chops. Japanese was horrible. Steakhouse has steak and lobster. No decent balcony views from the room of the ocean. Overall a decent all inclusive hotel.

    Excellent resort with friendly staff, wonderful beach access and good food. The cleaning service was outstanding-Helpful and courteous! The restaurants served great food (with limited gluten free options).

    This will be short and sweet. The staff from the reception to the cleaners were all very polite and friendly. I didn't use the La Carte restaurants just the main buffet restaurant. There was plenty of choice and plenty of food., at all of the meal times. At the hotel is a coffee place which is really nice . The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Didn't have to fight to get a sun bed at any 6of the day. Which was very nice. I have no problem in recommending this hotel to anyone. I would and probably will go back again.
    Fantastic stay and place for a wedding

    We stayed at Riu Palace Bavaro 20th May-3rd June and had a great holiday. This was our first time at this hotel and the Dominican Republic,after booking the holiday we decided to add a wedding to the booking! We had a fantastic wedding day with all our family in a beautiful setting. Wedding planner was excellent,no faults whatsoever with our wedding. The hotel was always extremely clean and staff were friendly. No complaints about the food, we were there for 2 weeks so did expect some repetition with meals but I think there was only 1 night in 14 we struggled to find something we liked. The steak house was the best restaurant. The hotel is a bit dated but this wasn’t a surprise for the caribbean and my only complaint was the extremely slippery floors throughout the hotel! It was like an ice rink especially when wet but this was the only fault that comes to mind. I’d definitely return to this hotel

    We have just returned from Punta cana Riu Palace Bavaro . I thought it was the Riu Palace Punta Cana but we found out it was the Riu Palace Bavaro. A bit confusing name. The thing that caught me out was the Punta Cana Palace had just been updated so I was not sure what it looked like as I had stayed there twice. Having arrived it transpired that the Bavaro was in deed a better hotel so I was delighted. However the two tire system of guests was irksome ie VIP guests area was quiet and gave a feeling of them and us within the hotel. The hotel is beautiful , service excellent , food outstanding cleanliness second to none.The entertainment around the pool could be clearly heard in the rooms and resembles 18 - 30 holiday from 3 - 8 pm. The pool area was generally noisy and we would have benefitted from access to the VIP pools which are not clearly marked in the marketing details as having restricted access. We were expected to pay $60 per day extra to have VIP status. The receptionist on checking out said we could have had VIP holiday for the same expense as our 2 wk holiday. This is what most people do . He was referring to those from the USA who do not have an atlantic crossing . THe flight was brilliant in the dreamliner Pixie Dust.
