Best time to go to Bahamas
The Bahamas deliver classic Caribbean temperatures – think scorching summer months, plus plenty of winter sun. Temperatures tend to hover around the high 20s in June, July and August, reaching 32°C at times. It’s the rainiest time of year, though, with tropical downpours becoming more frequent. For warm Caribbean weather with a lower risk of rainfall, January to March is probably the best time to visit – the heat’s a little milder, too. The Bahamas has high levels of humidity throughout the year, with June to August being especially high. We would advise you to leave windows and balcony doors closed as much as possible to make the most of the air-con and reduce humidity levels hotel rooms. And while we’re on the subject of hotels, you may find that some facilities, such as restaurants and bars, aren’t available from late April to May and from mid-August to mid-November, but there’ll be enough open so you can still enjoy your stay.
