A true work of art!!
We had a Fountain View room and it was outstanding! Watching the fountain from up high was really amazing! The Chiluly in the lobby is just breathtaking and the floral throughout the entire hotel is a special encounter. The Conservatory is unbelievable and the bathrooms in the rooms are marble and most lovely!!More

Great location as centre of the strip. Light and airy and Conservatory autumn display a delight to walk through every day. We went prepared to pay for anything that moves on the basis of reading the reviews eg. Knock the in-room snack tray by mistake which I did and the sensor charges you although concierge sorted that out. You can't put anything in fridge without charge and no in room kettle to make a drink, not even a bottle of water apart from at check in. We thought we might have been housed in hotel but were put in the Spa Tower at the back which was quiet and less smoky than main hotel area so was fine. We've visited most of the Strip hotels and Casino area smokiest but maybe they pump less air freshener than other hotels! The piano bar is an evening drink treat area. If on breakfast budget then pop over the road to their food court areas e.g. Ballys, MGM or Flamingos. Would definitely stay again.More
why not 5*?
so we all know that the Bellagio is a top hotel. so why 4 out of 5? i will explain my reasons. 2 couples from Israel after 3 long weeks in the US which included business, travelling, family meetings and a sport competition. our flight home is from Las Vegas so we chose the Bellagio hoping for the best. we have been to many hotels in Vegas in the course of time including the Venetian, The Palazzo, The Mandalay Bay, MGM and more so we know what to expect. The facility is great, huge hotel (some 4,000 rooms), great public areas including 20 restaurants, many shops, a local theater, great pool area, casino of course and much more. so the reason for the 4* is the room. we had a room at the 18th floor, overlooking the pool, the room is large and the bed comfortable (king size) but the room is pretty simple, the bathroom is large but the soap shampoo etc. are basic, so i did not find the room correlating to the high ambitions of the hotel. be prepared to spend a lot of money for tips, parking, valet services and expensive restaurants (but this is not only here). the fountains are beautiful of course. the VERY BEST was Otilia the Concierge who is worth a star just by herself.More
