Gift cards can be redeemed online on the TUI website or the First Choice website, or used in any TUI Store, excluding the Republic of Ireland. To redeem gift cards online, please select 'Card Payment' as the form of payment and enter your name, the long card number, expiry date and three-digit code found on your gift card.

How does it work?

Online

Simply choose who the gift card is for, whether you’d like to send them a digital or a physical version, the design, and the amount you’d like to load onto the gift card. You also have the option to add a message, and for digital gift cards, when you’d like the gift card to be sent.

In-store. TUI Travel Gift Cards can be bought directly from your local TUI Store. Use the TUI Store Finder to locate your nearest store. All our TUI Travel Gift Cards are presented in tri-fold card holders, and there’s room to write a message so you can personalise your gift.

FAQs

Where can I spend my gift card?

You can redeem your gift card online at the TUI website or the First Choice website, or use it in any TUI Store or superstore, excluding the Republic of Ireland.

Can I use my gift card to book experiences online?

Unfortunately, this is not currently possible, but if you wish to book an experience, you can visit your local TUI Store.

What happens if my gift card is lost or stolen?

Because the card is treated as cash, the balance can’t be refunded if it’s lost or stolen.

Do I need to have my card with me to redeem it?

Yes – you’ll need your card to hand when you’re ready to buy something with it. To top up the gift card, though, you’ll only need the serial number.

When does my card expire?

The value on your card will expire on the date printed on the reverse of the card. Digital gift cards will expire 2 years from the date of purchase.

Can I use my TUI Travel Gift Card online?

Yes, but you'll need to make sure your gift card has sufficient funds first. If you are making a new booking online your gift card must be loaded with a value equal to or greater than the payment due, otherwise you will be unable to redeem your gift card at this time. Once the booking has been made further gift card payments can be applied using the myTUI account functionality on the website. Each gift card will have to be applied separately and you must enter the value to be redeemed in each instance. To redeem your gift card online, please select 'card payment' as the form of payment from the menu on the payment page.

How do I find out my card balance?

Just call 0203 130 0133, visit your local store or check your balance online.

Can I use my gift card over the phone?

No – you’ll need to redeem your gift card online or at any TUI Travel Store or superstore, excluding the Republic of Ireland.

Terms and conditions

  1. Your TUI Travel Gift Card can be used as full or part payment for travel products at all TUI Stores (excluding the Republic of Ireland), tui.co.uk and firstchoice.co.uk. For website transactions, your gift card must have sufficient funds to cover the initial payment due when booking your holiday.

  2. The card can’t be used as payment, or exchanged for, travel money-related products, including currency, travellers’ cheques and prepaid cards.

  3. The card can’t be exchanged for cash or to buy another gift card.

  4. The expiry date is printed on the reverse of your gift card. Your physical gift card expiry date will be at least one year from the date of your purchase. For digital gift cards, the expiry will be printed on your digital card and is two years from the date of purchase.

  5. The maximum account balance allowed at any one time is £5,000 for physical gift cards and £3,000 for digital gift cards.

  6. The card must be treated as cash, and the balance can’t be refunded if it’s lost, stolen or destroyed.

  7. You can find out your balance by phone, in-store or on the web.

  8. Cards can’t be redeemed over the phone.

  9. Your gift card cannot be used in the Republic of Ireland or online at crystalski.co.uk

  10. TUI Travel Gift Cards are not covered by ABTA’s scheme of financial protection.
