If you or anyone you're travelling with requires assistance when flying on another airline, we’ll help make the necessary arrangements to ensure you have a smooth flight. Just give us a call on 0203 451 2688.
Other airlines might have different policies regarding seating, what medical or mobility equipment you can bring on their aircrafts, and whether assistance dogs are allowed onboard. We can help you navigate this, or you can visit the airline's website for full details.
For more information on specific airlines, see the relevant airline information below. If your airline is not included, please check the carrier website directly for more information.
How do I choose my seats if I'm not flying with TUI?
If your flights aren't with TUI or are not flying under a TOM or BY flight number, then you'll see see a few little differences to your booking. Instead of using Manage My Booking you'll need to visit the individual airline's website to choose your seats.
You'll find the name of the airline you're travelling with, the airline's booking reference, and their website on your Manage My Booking page, just below your flight details. Once you head to the other airline's website, remember to use their separate booking reference - not your TUI booking reference - to log in.
For SunExpress flights you can manage seat selections by logging on to https://www.sunexpress.com/reservation/ibe/modify?locale=en_US using your TUI booking reference,
Some airlines only let you choose your seat once you've paid in full, your flights have been ticketed and you've checked in, so it's best to do this as early as possible. If you need any extra help please contact us.
*Our partner airlines are Smartlynx, Titan, Air Explore, Avion Express, TUIFly Nordic, EnterAir, Fly4, Freebird, Alabastar and Air Ascend

Vueling check-in opens from seven days before your flight until one hour before departure.
You can check in, add Advance Passenger Information and download or print your boarding passes for all your flights directly from the Vueling website.
You’ll need to enter your Vueling booking reference – this is your six-character alpha-numeric TUI flight reference number, not your TUI booking reference – and surname[s].
You’ll find your flight reference number on your booking confirmation email, e-ticket, and on Manage My Booking on the TUI website or in the TUI app.
If you’re unable to check in online, you can do it at the airport. Just bear in mind that Vueling check-in counters open two and a half hours before departure and they close 40 minutes before the flight’s scheduled to leave.
Seating
Seats can be selected at any time before you check in, through Manage Bookings on the Vueling website.
Vueling charge a fee for choosing a seat, but you’ll be allocated a seat for free at check-in if you’d prefer not to pay.
Baggage
Your baggage allowance will be shown as you go through the booking process or on the customer documents that we’ll send to you after booking. Bookings with hold baggage included will also include hand baggage.
To find out more about your Vueling baggage allowance, including hold and hand baggage dimensions, see their hand luggage, checked luggage and special luggage web page.
Extra bags, extra weight, special items, or a larger hand baggage allowance can all be purchased through Manage Bookings on the Vueling website.

What do I do if I have connecting flights via the USA or Canada?
What if my aircraft is changed to a TUI Partner Airline after booking?
If there is a need to change your aircraft to one of our TUI Partner Airlines after booking, you will be notified as soon as possible regarding the change.
What if my flight with another airline is delayed or cancelled?
Your carrier will be in touch with you directly to let you know your flight has been delayed and cancelled and will offer an alternative. TUI will also be in contact if your flight is delayed by more than 2 hours to ensure your transfers and accommodation is rearranged. We recommend downloading your carrier’s App to ensure that you get up to date information on the status of your flight.
Please make sure you download the carrier airline’s app before travel, so you can receive the latest updates for your flight.
Please remember, carrier terms and conditions will apply to your flights, you can find these on the carrier website
If your flight is delayed or cancelled you can check your rights in accordance with EU Regulation (EC) 261/2004 here. Please note that any claims will need to be made with your airline directly and not through TUI.
What standards do TUI Partners meet?
TUI Partner Airlines are carefully selected to ensure they meet TUI's high standards of service and comply with strict Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) or EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards.
Where can I find updates and information about my flight if I'm not flying with TUI?
Visit the airline's website for the latest details on your flight. You'll also find live updates on the screens at the airport.
Which airlines do I need to provide Advance Passenger Information (API) for?
You need to provide API details for all airlines on your booking. If you are not flying under a TOM or BY flight number you will need to do this on the other airlines website.
Which airline am I flying with?
The airline you're flying with will be listed on the flight details page during the booking process, and is also shown on your confirmation email in the 'Your Flights' section.
Once you've booked, you should be able to find the name of the airline you're travelling with, the airline's booking reference, and the airline's website address on your Manage My Booking page just below your flight details.
Why am I flying with a different airline?
When you’re choosing a holiday, we know how important it is to have plenty of options when it comes to things like destinations and travel times. That’s why we package up holidays with airlines we trust as well as our own award-winning TUI Airways fleet. It means we can give you even more holiday options.
All the partner airlines we use have met the same rigorous international safety standards as TUI Airways, and you’ll get TUI’s usual high standard of service and support. We’ll make sure that if a transfer is included, your transfer will meet you on arrival. And if you need us while you’re away, you can message us 24/7 through the app or by calling +4420 38 303 111 – just bear in mind that calls from abroad will be charged at international rates.
To find out more about what you can expect on your flight and how to manage things like seating, luggage and check-in, please see our individual airline FAQs. If your airline is not included here, please see our FAQ ‘How do I manage my booking if I'm flying with another airline?’
