We stayed for one night at hotel Taner, hotel staff very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are very modern and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was very nice typical Turkish. We have booked as a family for next year already cannot wait to go back for two weeks this time. ☀😎🍺🏖😁 see you next year in May More
5* for friendliness
First time at the Taner Hotel arriving on 22nd September. Spotlessly clean and a very warm welcome from Demit on reception. I am mostly a wheelchair user and we were given a room on the ground floor which was large enough, basic but clean and tidy. On the second day we were there I had an accident - which was my own fault- and knocked a full boiling travel kettle over which burnt my back. Demit was fantastic and arranged for her father to taxi us to the main state hospital. He did not speak English too well but was able to inform hospital reception about what happened. He stayed with us until we left and brought us back to the hotel.. 3 days later I had a puncture in my wheelchair. The owner Mr Taner took the wheel to Fethiye, had it fixed and brought it back and only charged 20Tl for the repair. The pool was a good size and at this time of year never had to fight for a sunbed. Breakfast was typical Turkish as expected but lots of choice available along with cereal and fresh fruits. A lunch time and evening menu was available which we had a few times and was not disappointed at all. The boys behind the bar were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for Omar. Thank you all for a great stay. Have now just booked for next year <3 Denise and TonyMore
Had an amazing holiday here in September will definately be coming back.
The hotel was so clean and perfectly situated. It was a couple of streets back from the main drag which meant that it only took minutes to get to everything but was away from the noise. I constantly saw people cleaning it and it polished. The staff cannot do enough for you and were happy to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. It was never too much trouble for them even if you asked them to call a cab. The breakfast was very nice with something for everyone and the strawberries were the best I have ever tasted. The hotel had a nice pool and even provided a changing room with a shower, hairdryer and mirror in case you had a late flight home and your room was already booked. The cocktails were also as good as any of the upmarket cocktail bars. The beds felt really hard but surprisingly I had the best sleep I have ever had on them. I would avoid the basement rooms as they look quite gloomy unlike the lovely room we had.More
Had in the most a lovely stay at Taner Hotel. I was a little apprehensive as they do have some rooms that are basement rooms with no view, just a wall 2 meters from your window. The rooms are looking tired with slap happy touch up painting on the walls, bathrooms are tiny but suffice. Friendly staff most of the time however the only problem I encountered was the bar opening hours. I was on holiday with my 10 yr old son and we came back to the hotel around midnight for a game of pool and a last drink. Some nights the bar is open till 3.00am. Other nights it is closed before Midnight. It seems to depend on which staff were working and wether they were going out that night! Which meant you couldn't plan your evenings if you wanted a drink at the hotel. Also was told to finish our game of pool one night by the night porter at 11.15 am as he needed to clean the floor! From then I didn't use the hotel bar with 2 days to go before we came home. I cleared my bar tab. On checkout I was presented with a bar bill for the last day! Which I didn't pay as we'd not even been by the pool all day. Also had many drinks on my bar tab earlier in the holiday that we never ordered. Advice- clear your bar tab every few days!More
We always have such a great time at this hotel, there hospitality is outstanding, you're always made to feel welcome and part of their family. Standard swimming pool but the rooms are clean and a pleasure to sleep in.More
