We booked a 2 bed family room and a single occupancy room for a week, c/in 24th October. The hotel is in a superb location, just a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach and centre, wonderfully quiet. The grounds and facade were impressive and well maintained. Our room was on the ground floor and wonderfully spacious and clean, however it looked out on to a high external wall and got very little natural light so there where significant sights and smells of damp, superficially covered by 2 automated room fresheners. Our main issues with our stay are, I'm sure, linked with the fact our c/out date coincided with the last day of the season - the staff were clearly tired and ready for their holiday and this was evident in the quality of service and food. When we arrived there were maybe 50 guests. By our final night the total was 9! The first few days of food were good, lots of choice and plenty of it. The problem was while the quantity of choice remained good (with the exception of the lasts 2 days which were pretty awful) there was little to no variation each day, i.e. there were maybe 25 different salads available, but the same 25 each day, breakfast, lunch and dinner! As other reviews have said, small improvements in this area would make a big difference. The pool area was lovely but the water was very cold. Plenty of sun beds though again towards the last few days we didn't dare stand up for fear of them being cleared away! The star or the show was Fred the photographer who remembered everyone's name and was friendly without being 'in your face'. He took some truly beautiful pictures which we chose to purchase for around £4 each under absolutely no pressure or obligation. Note to all other staff - be more like Fred, your day may pass quicker if you are less miserable! Overall I would say 5 star for turkey, 4 star max for a British audience on a good day. We got a good price having only booked 6 weeks in advance and in the most part we got what we paid for, with the exception of the last couple of days when our presence began to feel like in inconvenience. If it wasn't tied down it was cleared away, clocks of the walls, net of the ping pong table, balls from the pool table and even all the bins! I would consider returning but not at the same point of the season. I would advise the hotel considers shutting up shop early as many other hotels in the area had done already. If they are going to continue to accept reservations to the very end then the offering needs to be more in par with busier times of the season as even the last customer to leave has paid for their holiday and has an expectation of reasonable service. I fully understand that a hotel can not run at full throttle for such a small number of guests, but we were paying guests nonetheless.More
having been in may I decided to return in october ( what a disappointment ) The hotel looked tired dirty. The sunloungers around the pool were disgusting and broken glass under the parasols. I've never seen waiters dressed in jeans and hoodies before, they were miserable and took your plate before you had finished. The bathroom was never cleaned properly,at least got clean towels Entertainment was dire and repetitive Into the second week everything just got worse, the food was bland, they changed dinner times 8.30 pm restaurant closed, ran out of beer Freddy the photographer was the best person there Sorry but will be going back againMore
This is the 2nd time we have been to this hotel and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is spotless thro out and the pool is clean and bid. Only disappointment was no aqua aerobics but lots of other entertainment. Staff in bars restaurants very friendly as we're the maids. Would defo go again.More

Lovely hotel...until end of season
Stayed here for 12 nights. Really nice hotel, very clean, good facilities, good food. The first week was amazing, I would give the first week 5 stars. But the second week just ruined it for us. It was coming to the end of their holiday season and you could tell the staff stopped caring. Tables weren’t being cleaned, the bar staff standards went down, the food got very boring and the same food every night. One of the children stood at the top of the slide (before it was turned on) and urinated down the slide and the other kids just laughed as it trickled down the slide and into the pool. We informed the management team and they did nothing about it. Such a shame because the first week was amazing and the second week just went to pot More
