Thanks to its prom-front location and cutting edge design, the H10 Tenerife Playa really stands out from the crowd.
The H10 Tenerife Playa has an enviable address. The hotel is set on a lively promenade just a five-minute walk from the beach. It’s also got the fashionable Lago Martianez lido right on its doorstep.
Tropical gardens set the scene for a pair of pools and sun terraces, while the whitewashed building hides away bright, modern rooms decorated with art prints.

Just returned from another fabulous week at H10 Tenerife Playa booked again in February.
This Hotel suits my wife and I ideally. There is nothing I can criticize about it. The staff a majority of whom have been there a long time treat you as a family, this includes, the Public Relations lady who will deal with any issues you need to raise. You will never leave the buffet style restaurant hungry, the bar staff are excellent. The entertainment is varied and good supported by hotel staff who have spent the days involving the guests in a variety of games and fitness activities. The bedrooms are very good looked after by very attentive staff. In addition to these comments the location of the Hotel is ideal close to the seafront and in the lovely town of Peurto de la Cruz.More
Good hotel which lets itself down
We visited in June 2017. I had already visited twice before and would have rated it 4 out of 5 then, but in this occasion we were never told beforehand that building work was taking place in the hotel. The building work is fair enough - i had a refurbished room which was lovely, but at other hotels I’ve visited building work was always concealed. The food is ok at breakfast. May visit again once we definitely know the work has finished.More
2nd Time at Hotel
This was our 2nd time at this hotel , it is the same as 2 years ago not changed a bit, but good hotel , the rooms are nice. Their is wi fi all round the hotel now which is good, the food OK you can always find something on the menu a different selection each night the evening meal. You have a snack bat by the pool if you wanted to go to that bar in the day rather than go up to the main restaurant. You have the lido dead opposite the hotel which is fab couple euros to get in , if you wanted to come out at any time you can and still go back in with your ticket . The only down fall with hotel the night entertainment it is boring you have 2 guys playing from 8 until 10 until the entertainment starts which isn't worth watching , on a Saturday night we were back to our room by 9 30 and watched a film on our iPad, a big hotel like this you would think a comedian act, a nice band etc etc its a shame if this had been different I would have given a 5 star.More
Second class citizen
The location of the hotel is fantastic right next to the sea. We arrived late and our room was a ground floor family room which was huge had a lovely terrace and was spotlessly clean. The air con was a bit rubbish but we didn’t spend much time in our room so it didn’t bother us much. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly but getting served drinks was very hitty missy on an evening in the bar. Mainly due to privilege customers taking priority. The part we didn’t like was the privilege system H10 offer. Privilege customers in this hotel seemed to look down on those of us who weren’t. If you’re privileged you can leave a black towel on a sun lounger whenever and wherever you want even overnight or all day/week even if you don’t use it. I heard conversations between privilege customers looking down on those who weren’t and complaining the hotel had gone downhill by allowing us in. I’ve stayed in another H10 hotel but never been made to feel like this before and I hope it’s unique to this hotel. I did at times feel like a second class citizen not by the hotel staff but the guests. H10 group really needs to look at this as it’s put me off staying in another one just in case the same thing happens again. More
ok. But some areas are declining
The location of the hotel is excellent. Its right across from the beach in a quiet part of the island. The outdoor pool area is well kept and nice. The entertainment staff is second to none. Outdoor activities were great fun. Other hotel staff was nice as well. Rooms are clean and Wi-Fi is finally available in the rooms. On the negative, I though the food choices could have been better. This was my third stay, and it seems the choice has gone down from prior years. The hotel needs a little TLC. New carpet, a new paint job outside etc. Also, the cleaning was inconsistent. For example I used a glass and it set on the desk for the 4 days. The cleaning did not replace. Also in the past bed sheets were changed every 2 days, not sure it was done this time around. I left a note on the bed one day. Overall thought, still value for the dollar.More
