    The horseshoe-shaped Ambassador Apartments are in a peaceful spot on the edge of Puerto de la Cruz. You’re within easy reach of the town centre, though, and a couple of Tenerife’s trademark black-sand beaches are only five minutes’ drive away.

    Things are kept simple but stylish in the rooms, with a white and marmalade colour scheme, elaborate carvings hanging above the beds, and a polished wood trim in the kitchen.

    We stayed here for one week in November 2019. Fabulous accomodation. Bright, clean and modern. Plenty of space for a couple. Ideal for those who want a base to see the main attractions (Mount Teide, Lorro park etc). Most of them are in the north of the island and within around a 1 hour drive. Kitchen is very well equipped with a full oven and hob, toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge. Masses of storage space in the bedroom, large beds. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. Proper hairdryer, not one of those where you have to hold the button down. Towels were changed, beds made and room cleaned every day but Sunday. Excellent Reception staff, happy to help with any queries. Nice quiet location, about 15 minute walk to super market and nearest restuarants. Highly recommend.
    Relaxing Stay

    Just home from a relaxing week away at these very clean, very quiet, well furnished apartments. We stayed on the first floor with the spacious balcony which we were more than happy with. Sunbathing up on the rooftop terrace was equally peaceful with only a handful of other couples. Two supermarkets available close by with the one up the hill having the much wider selection. Visited some lovely restaurants within the immediate area, with our favourite being the ‘Olivia’ only a 10 minute walk opposite the Botanical Gardens (also worthy of a visit). With a steep 20/25 minute walk down to the main town you will definitely need a taxi back (6 euros) Our first trip to the North of the Island but well worth the extra transfer time. Will definitely visit Apartments Ambassador again when we return to Tenerife.
    Beautiful quiet apartments

    Stayed here with my mum as her 70th birthday present. The apartments are very well appointed and are very clean. There is a fridge, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Also all the cutlery and plates etc that you need. The only downside was the small cup but this was easily remedied with the purchase of bigger cups from the local supermarket which is close by and has everything you need including a lovely cake shop also on site. The walk into the main town will take you about 20 minutes to half an hour depending on which way you go. It is all downhill and you get to know where all the local amenities are on your way down. There are some lovely places to eat around the area without having to go down to the main town but if you do go down into town for a meal and dont fancy walking back I understand that taxis are fairly cheap to get back. The apartments have a pool area and two sun terraces that provide a beautiful view of the area. There is also a sauna. The staff are very helpful and can organise trips and have lots of handy leaflets with ideas of things to do. The local bus service is also good and reception will provide you with details of the bus routes and timetables. Really loved this place for the peace and quiet and would book again.

    I was with my teenage son there in last week of August. Super quiet and relaxing place. Apartment was lovely and very clean. All ladies: receptionists and cleaning service were very nice, every time smiling. Gardner- very serious but every time busy and all surroundings spotless, great looking flowers, trees , grass. It was pleasure to spent time in Apartamentos Ambasador. Located not far from town centre. Shopping near by. Breath taking views.

    Excellent accommodation and service at the Ambassador Apartments. I have seen year on year improvement in the quality of the accommodation, it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy Pueuto de la Cruz.
