Hotel Paradise Park

Just returned from a weeks holiday with our eldest granddaughter (10). After reading the reviews, we were slightly dissatisfied and disappointed. The main pool was far too small for the amount of children, and the other pools were too deep for most youngsters. The rooms were dated but adequate. The cleanliness was of a good standard with the rooms cleaned daily and the hotel was spotless. The biggest disappointment for us was the two restaurants which were like ‘Jazzed up Work’s canteens ‘. The food was bland , the vegetables were mainly canned and the variety was a disappointment, this was a meal time bind for us x3 daily. It was a good hotel foe children, but by the end of the holiday we felt hotel bound. Would definitely visit the resort again but not this hotel.

We have just returned from 10 nights at paradise park it was certainly no paradise and certainly no fun. We booked a superior room with balcony and pool view, we had pool view if we had a swan neck,balcony only room for two chairs and table not enough room to sit out on and enjoy,we went to reception and asked if it was the superior room and they said yes because it had a kettle,kettles should be a standard not superior only good thing about room was the shower and comfortable beds. We only stayed at the hotel one day out of the ten as meal times were a grind,kids running everywhere no supervision from staff or parents,meals we both found very bland with a mishmash of combination,desert counter in evening was swarmed with kids getting ice cream,ice cream and sauce everywhere and while we were there 3 smashed dishes by kids it was horrendous,evening entertainment was the same kids everywhere and entertainment wasn’t great either we were in bed most nights by 10. Rooftop terrace was lovely adults only but couldn’t get all inclusive drinks/food it could be so much nicer up there serving the all inclusive and playing better music,we both said it would of been lovely to eat up there in evenings even if it was to a set meal. Most days the lunch restaurant was closed and had to use dinner restaurant we noticed signs in lift and doors as we used lifts to leave the hotel. On our departure day we had 1pm pick up so we had to spend morning round hotel only to be told kids pool was closed all day because a child had been sick in it and they then aloud all kids to use adults pool (bloody lovely) there were even in the adults only jacuzzi once again with no supervision. Holiday turned out to be very expensive as we went out every day to get away from it all. We would never ever return to this hotel.
